Eligibility Rules for Pothole Horror Stories

In order to provide fair and equal opportunity of winning; the following are official rules for all contestants:

 

  1. All winners must be 18 years of age or older.
  2. Participates and their families may not be employees of the Illinois Road and Transportation Builders Association.
  3. Participants should submit a photo and a brief, 250 words or less narrative of the incident.
  4. All entrants must have contacted their legislator via the www.fixourroadsnow.com website.
  5. All participants must send entries using their correct email address.
  6. Only one (1) prize awarded per person.
  7. Judging will occur on a weekly basis and be judged entirely at the discretion of IRTBA
  8. Contest is set for a one-month period, subject to change at will.
  9. By submitting your photo or text to IRTBA, participants grant IRTBA the right to use, reproduce and display photos and text for any purpose.
  10. By submitting photos and text, the participant warrants that the submitted material does not and will not infringe on any copyright, any rights of privacy of any party.
  11. These rules are subject to change.
